Club accreditation

ClubMark Accreditation Scheme in Wales:

Clubs have a vital role to play in the development of young players. Clubmark will set the entry level for an increasing network of cricket clubs providing good quality cricket programmes for young people. In addition the Clubmark accreditation scheme is fully integrated with Safe Hands the ECB’s welfare of young people in Cricket policy.  It is likely that accredited clubs and those working towards accreditation will be given priority over others when applying for future funding. We hope to have at least 50 accredited clubs by 2008 in Wales.

At present 26 clubs, Pontblyddyn, Newport, Pontardulais, Bronwydd, Swansea, Carmarthen Wanderers, Llantwit Major, Cowbridge, Haverfordwest, Pentyrch, Penarth, Croesyceiliog, Gowerton, Brymbo, Neath, Whitchurch Heath, Ebbw Vale, Ynystawe, Lisvane, Miskin, Whitland, Prestatyn, Usk, Hawarden Park, Colwyn Bay,  and Cressely have now achieved Clubmark accreditation.

Please click on the link (criteria to achieve accrediation)  This information guideline is comprehensive but the  Cricket Development Officers  will be happy to provide advice and guidance to any clubs interested in applying for accreditation.
