preparation, they are Wales accredited pitch assessors Len Smith,
Wayne Duggan and Gareth Phillips (as seen in picture above). They
have provided an invaluable support service to clubs. This
includes a series of visits, soil analysis, advice and recommended
action. The scheme will be continued in 2007 thanks to the
continued sponsorship from Advanta Seeds and Notts Sport. Clubs are encouraged to carry out a full survey to really see what is “under the bonnet”! There will be a cost, but this will be an excellent investment, as it will offer your grounds' team a first class direction for the improvement of your square. For more information contact:

They also arrange, promote and deliver courses and help in the coordination of the Cricket Board of Wales pitch improvement scheme. The best possible pitches will help the development of young cricketers.England and Wales Cricket Trust Machinery Fund Available to accredited clubs and those working towards accreditation and our 4 Groundsmans Associations on behalf of its member clubs as a collective applicant. Under this scheme there will be a budget of £60,000 to be used for the purchase of new or reconditioned machinery and applicants must contribute a minimum 25% of the purchase value.
