Dear Volunteer,

 

Welcome to the Behind Every Star Volunteer Team.

We are very excited that you have been inspired by our Behind Every Star Campaign and that you want to play your part in developing sport in Wales. Welsh sport needs more coaches and volunteers if we are to achieve the goal of getting every child hooked on sport for life. You have taken your first steps to help your local community develop sport.

Our official ‘Call to action’ will commence in September.  A TV advert will launch our plea to the people of Wales to sign up and get involved, as you have already done. In the meantime your details will be sent to a local officer based on your chosen interests and the local officer will work with you to ensure that you have a Criminal Records Bureau Check, necessary training and suitable opportunities.

As part of the campaign we are offering free safeguarding and protecting children training and a full calendar of these courses will be available from September. We’ll   contact you directly about these courses over the coming months.
