The Cricket Board of Wales (CBW) is looking to appoint a Director of Cricket. The Director of Cricket will provide leadership and direction to the CBW, planning manning and financing the objectives of the Board. The successful candidate will need a proven track record within a management role and must also have a thorough knowledge of the CBW’s strategy for the development of cricket at all levels.

Accountable to:

Chairman of the Board of Directors

General responsibilities:

To provide leadership and direction to the Cricket Board of Wales

To direct, plan, manage and finance the objectives of the Cricket Board of Wales

The Application Process

 

Stage 1 – Application form

 

  • Applicants are required to complete the attached application form.

 

  • This includes a self-evaluation section, where candidates should provide evidence of how they satisfy each of the personal abilities and experiential requirements listed in the person specification and considered necessary to be successful in the role.

 

  • Responses in the self-evaluation section should demonstrate specific examples and be concise and relevant.

Stage 2 – Interview short-listed candidates

 

Short-listed candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview. Interview dates will be confirmed to short-listed candidates but are likely to be in weeks beginning Monday 8 June 2009 and Monday 15 June 2009.
